Love Is Magic

Love is like magic
and it always will be.
For love still remains
Life's sweet mystery!
Love works in ways
that are wondrous and strange
and there's nothing in life
that love cannot change!
Love can transform
the most commonplace
into beauty and splendor
And sweetness and grace
Love is unselfish,
Understanding and kind,
for it sees with its heart
and not with its mind!
Love is the answer
that everyone seeks....
Love is the language,
which every heart speaks.
Love can't be bought,
it is priceless and free,
Love, like pure magic,
is life's sweet mystery!

Love's Afterglow

I love to see you sensually draped,
In the after glow of love’s refrain.
The tresses of your brown hair,
Disheveled by uncontrolled desires,
Luscious lips that once wore red
Now lie pale, naked and silent,
The gentle breathing of your tanned body
Glistening with drops of love’s passion,
Your bruised breasts seeking repose
From amorous lips that worshiped there,
And your sea-green eyes now bowed
In prayer and contemplation,
But on your beautiful, angelic face
Sits a sweet smile of contentment.

Love's Sorrow

On long, loveless winter nights,
While lover's arms seek warm embrace,
I lie in bed alone,
My heart crying
In silent torment,
Aching for the sweet fragrance
Of your welcoming bosom.

Love On A Lazy Summer's Day

The meadow looks so beautiful this morning
The river just ambles on by
Barges and boats leave their moorings
Not caring where they are going or why.
The couple on deck are waving
Encouraging the artist in me
I carry on with my engraving
Carving a heart in the bark of a tree.
The riverbank dotted with primrose
Buttercup and purple flowering sage
Honeysuckle grows in the hedgerows
Surely this must be true loves stage.
A skylark hovers over the meadow
In the bushes the yellow hammers sing
I watch intently as the swallow
Catches her prey on the wing.
Mother nature is displaying her beauty
Her wisdom, her magic, her charm
One day you will share this with me
When I'm holding you in my arms.
Please my Lord hurry the day
My love and I have been so long apart
Help me Lord to find the way
To the girl who holds my heart.

Love Within

As I sat down remembering
My first meeting with you
I can help but to wonder...
Is there something within
That makes me stand out
From your other friends ?
You have told me then...
I am different
Though I am thankful but
My mind still seeks
What makes me special
For you to keep me,
Here with you...
Something in my mind keeps coming back…
Can’t help but ask
Is there love within your heart?
This is the question I wanna ask…
Within your heart, you told me
“I wanna keep you,
For I want you to be my true friend and lover too”
These words make my heart beat faster
Feeling the love within…
Though I know
It is just a long distance love affair
But still... there is LOVE WITHIN…

Let's Go Trick or Treating

Let's go Trick or Treating
Let's be kids again
Let's get some candy
And light jack-o-lantern grins
Let's put on some ripped up clothing
And go as hobos just for fun
Let's get caramel apples on a stick
And candy bars by the ton
Let's make sure we bring along
Some easy to clean soap just in case
For those that don't give out something sweet
Will see on their windows a happy face
Let's walk the streets till way past 10
Then we can tell scary stories
Of monsters, ghosts, witches, and ghouls
In all their morbid glories
And when we finally come home
To lay our heads on soft pillows
We can listen to the wind moan
So eerily through the weeping willows.
I wish you a Happy Halloween
I hope you'll enjoy the night
I hope you don't get to upset
When the kids try to cause a fright

I love the taste

Love Is a Great Gift

Love is a great gift
That God gave to mankind
It is a union of our innermost feelings
A communication between two minds
Love is a binding of hearts
It is listening and sharing
It is trusting and believing
It is giving and caring
In Love there is laughter
There are sorrows and tears
There’s rejoicing in triumphs
And comfort in fears
Love is a journey
From the beginning to the end
It is a risk I will take because of you
But the reward is love.
One that will last forever

Love Brimming Aflow

Rain's mist like dew upon the ground
In your presence tis never a frown
My joy, my love, right from the start
With you in my life... never doth part
You bring me happiness, fulfillment too
Brimming with love, overflowing for you
Nothing can compare... my heart dost leap
Only you, my love, I always will keep
I look to the sunrise... you brighten my day
On shoulder my head will gladly dost lay
Look at the lake.. waters brimming aflow
Talking and smiling, touching you slow
Why must such times end as they start
You alone, my love, dost capture my heart
I long for the time we shall meet once again
Embrace you... to kiss you... my love dost sustain

sometimes forever
isn't always the plan.

Loving Her

As I lay here
Thinking about my life,
I realize something is missing
And that would be a wife.
While I know I’m not ready
For that type of leap just yet
The commitment is there
Of that, my life I will bet.
Many don’t believe,
Love is all you need
I say to those kinds of people
You’ve never been in Love so deep.
I ache when I’m not with her,
My heart pours out when I am.
When we’re apart, I’m lost,
When we’re together, I’m found.
Deeper and Deeper
I fall every day
I know I have a choice,
But I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What the future holds,
Only God can tell
So everyday that I’m still here,
On her, my thoughts will dwell.

Love Worth the Wait

Our souls are a mirror of
what we need to change
A neat little hat trick,
only God can arrange

Our reflection will make us
simply retreat
and fall to our knees
in endless defeat

The ending we shared
can be a new start
to find our way back
stop needing to part

The scars now fading
of wounds in the past
We need to ignore
if this love is to last

True love will prevail
when we work on our own
to fix life's dilemmas
and spend time alone

The divine will take over
to decide what is best
and the choices we make
will let our soul rest

To love ourselves more
forgive what we've done
Only then we can heals
top wanting to run

And replacing the pain
will be joy in our tears
We will know what we need
to calm all our fears

So don't worry my love
your worth all the wait
Your memory alone
seals my heavenly fate

And on that day when
I see in your eyes
days full of "I Love You's"
not endless good-byes

Our souls will be able
to restore and make right
the life we deserve
and a love worth the fight!

Love Inside

I thought that I
Could never find
These things once thought
Were left behind
In you I see
A heart sincere
To energize
And conquer fear
I want to find
Your hidden needs
Before my wants
Can then proceed
The love inside
I have to give
Is ready now
And wants to live

LOVE

Love makes a sound
That is deaf to the ears
But when heard by the heart
It is as though a symphony appears
Love can see things
That are blind to the eye
But when seen by the heart
The colors fill the sky
Love says so much
Without saying a word
If your heart isn’t listening
Then love will not be heard
Love has a vision
That sees past what we see
If your heart isn’t looking
Then love will not be seen
There may come a time
When your heart won’t hear or see
Just take my hand and kiss my lips
And feel the love pour out of me
To feel love and to feel loved
Are entirely two different things
To feel love is what you brought
To feel loved is what they bring
Falling in love can bring you such joy
Falling out of love can create such sorrow
Try hard to live and love for today
Because it might not be there tomorrow
