Internet Love

WE CHATTED FOR FUN ON THE INTERNET SITE
DO YOU THINK WE WILL MEET! WELL WE JUST MIGHT
LITTLE DID WE KNOW WHEN WE FIRST MET
FATE PLAYED IT'S PART,THE SCENE WAS SET
I LOOKED AT YOU AND YOU GAVE ME A SMILE
WE HAD A DRINK AND CHATTED FOR A WHILE
WE GOT ON WELL I FELT SO AT EASE
YOU WANTED TO MEET AGAIN I THOUGHT YES PLEASE
WE MET AGAIN ON THE THIRD TIME WE KNEW
THE FEELINGS WE HAD WERE OBVIOUSLY TRUE
A NIGHT ALONE WITH A STOLEN KISS
WE MADE LOVE TOGETHER OH WHAT BLISS
AS TIME GOES ON THESE FEELINGS GROW STRONGER
LOVING SO PASSIONATE DEEPER AND LONGER

I Knew

When our eyes first met
How did I know?
How did I know all my love, to you, I would show
How did I know?
You would be the one to make my life complete
To fill my eyes with love
No longer with deceit
How did I know?
You would show me love in so many ways
Leaving me speechless
In ecstasy, a continuous daze
I have you to love
How can it be?
I have a part of you inside of me
How did I know?
I belonged in only your arms
With your strong hold, you keep me from all harm
How did I know?
That sexy sparkle in your eyes
Would be the cause of my daze, my desirable sighs

I Love You

I love you for that certain smile
that cheers me up when I am blue.
I love you for your tenderness
that warms me through and through.
I love you for your kindness
and understanding heart;
one that always says,
"I love you very much."
I love you for your faith in me
and your sweet, loving ways.
I love you for the many things you do
so often without praise.
I love you for all these things
and a million others too,
but, most of all, for who I am
whenever I'm with you.

I Only Love & Adore You

I love you in a place
where there's no space or time
I love you with my life
that you have made divine.
There's a world waiting for just us two
picture it in your mind
that's where we'll always stay
together till the end of time.
I've got you under my skin
deep in the heart of me
just look into my eyes
and know that you're all I see.
Life will never be the way we want
but I can be satisfied
just knowing that you love me
and will always be by my side.

If it weren't for you, I could not walk
Because you are my pathway to happiness
If it weren't for you, I could not breathe
For it is you that gives me reason to take that breath.
If it weren't for you, I would not sing
Because you are the one that my voice cherishes
If it weren't for you, I would fall
For it is you that picks me up when I'm down.
If it weren't for you, I would not get up in the morning
Because your face is what gives me the courage to wake
If it weren't for you, I would break down and cry
Because if it weren't for you, I would surely die

I Thought of You

I thought of you today,
as I heard the whisper of the wind
in the rustling of autumn leaves,
swirling, dancing and painting
the earth in carpets of red and gold.
I thought of you today,
as I saw the slow, moving V of geese
noisily announcing their journey south,
dragging winter behind them.
I thought of you today,
as I felt the tears of gray skies,
and the cold wind steal
the last trace of Indian-summer breath.
I thought of you today;
the promise of spring to come,
and I smiled.

In Heartprints For You

Its feelings from my heart
Which I need to write
Worded tokens I convey
Both in love and light
Words written in sincerity
With continuous flow
Hoping to keep in touch
The only way I know
Each poem of love written
I send on over to you
As we are oceans apart
This is all I could do
As with every word I write
The feelings are true
Love flows continuously
In heartprints for you

You never told me how you felt
How deep your feelings ran
I’m sorry I was blind to see
What was there for me to hold
My heart aches for how I hurt you
The insensitivity that I showed
Please know I never meant it
I simply did not know
I am not a perfect being
As a person, I make mistakes
But know that I love you
It grows more each passing day
Let’s put the past behind us
Learn how to trust again
For your heart I do not want to break
But embrace for days to come
I want to see this new love grow
Into something more than I can imagine
Please find it in your heart to forgive
These past things that once took place
I am awed that you have chosen me
To share this time in your life
I promise to give you all I have
For a chance to love again

Whilst time ticks away
Closing our eyes we drift
Until night turns to day
As we shake away blues

The last thing at night

As we turn off the light.

When I shut down my sight

You are the world, the love for me
I want to die being your wife.

In my arms you are safe,
From even the worst storm.
I'll forever be your shelter,
And always keep you warm.
In my arms you're so loved,
You'll feel it has I hold you.
So very close to me darling,
To show you my love is true.
In my arms you'll be happy,
When you feel all the love.
That I have for only you,
It will be like heaven above.
In my arms is where you belong,
So I can hold you so very tight.

I guess I don't say it,
As often as I should

The smell of her perfume lingered on his sheet
A remembrance where desire and passion did met
The intersection of their two hearts was required
It was a natural that a relationship transpired
They were so different but yet so much the same
But a simple glance kindled an inextinguishable flame
